Brief Description: Caring at Christmas runs the Shelter in St Pauls for a week over the Christmas period. Based at the nightshelter in Little Bishop street (guest entrance on Wilder Street) we are direct access emergency accommodation. We also run other projects throughout the year.
Client Services: Emergency accommodation direct access on a first-come first served basis. 40 beds in dormitory men and women sleep in the same room; 3 meals a day served (including traditional Christmas lunch on Christmas day). Snacks and hot drinks available throughout the day. Clothing, laundry service, toilets, showers, toiletries, entertainment and services.; The Bristol Survival Handbook. A guide for homeless people with details of accommodation, daycentres, food, healthcare, advice and support, animal welfare, charity shops and seasonal organisations.; C@C Bristol Nightstop. Placing 16-25 year olds in emergency accomodation with volunteer host families for 1-3 nights.
Access Restrictions: 18+ no pets
Opening Times: Shelter open from 3pm 24th Dec - 10am 31st Dec. Dormitory opens at 9pm and closes at 10am. Those not staying overnight should leave by 11pm.
