- The aim of Black orchid is to provide culturally sensitive and appropriate mental health advocacy for people of African, Caribbean and other ethnic minority groups, between the ages of 16 and 65. At Black Orchid we endeavour to enter into an equal partnership with mental health users to provide information and which can be acted upon in order to empower individuals, listening to their needs and enabling them to work through choices and options available to them.
