- ACAD is an independent charity with centres in Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The aim is to help anyone concerned about their own or someone else's drinking problems (and also drug-use in our Weston-Super-Mare office).

- Unbiased, accurate information and assessment for anyone with a personal drink or drug problem.
- Information and advice for friends, relatives or employers of the problem user.
- Counselling, group work, day care and residential care
- Relapse prevention and a direct link with local medical, welfare, employment or psychiatric facilities.
